Community Project, Liverpool

Big Red does not just cover major construction sites covering warehouse construction, factory builds, PBSA and Residential. We also like to get involved in community projects which significantly impact the local areas.

We believe community projects are important to local communities for a variety of reasons. These projects improve the facilities and infrastructure allowing for the essential community work to take place. The works that happen in these facilities allow for individuals to develop a shared purpose, strengthen social bonds with the community and create a sense of ownership over their community.

The particular project in Liverpool, Netherly Youth and Community Initiative, facilitates a comfortable and safe location where young people can socialise whilst developing their skills and learning.

We are nearing the end of our time on this project and looking to hand over in the next few weeks. This extension to their facility will allow for a better space which will support their fantastic work within the local community. A great project to have been involved with.
